HalalZilla consults the great archives of football to handpick our top Muslim players who’ve ever laced a pair of boots in the big leagues – especially those you didn’t know were Muslim!
As part of their initiatives to commemorate their 10th anniversary and in the spirit of Ramadan, Domino’s Pizza Singapore recently supported beneficiaries of Daughters of Tomorrow in hosting an Iftar Block Party. Held at Keat Hong Axis in Choa Chu Kang, over one hundred underprivileged residents were invited to attend the event.
The party is the very first iftar event hosted by the Daughters of Tomorrow. The charity organisation facilitates livelihood opportunities for underprivileged women and supports them in building and sustaining financially independent families.
The Iftar Block Party saw a gathering of people from different races – Chinese, Malays, Indians, Caucasians – and walks of life. Over the iftar meal of Domino’s Pizza and traditional iftar must-haves, the attendees bonded as they chat and find out about the significance of Ramadan from their new-found friends.
